A lot to get to over the weekend I want to start off with a couple of sad pieces of news. Senator John McCain, 81 years old passes away after battling brain cancer for more than a year. 35 years in politics, took him to congress to a republican presidential nomination. And it looks like he requested Barack Obama and George W. Bush to do the eulogy so... zing! Also some sad news from over the weekend but do you remember the odd couple? The playwrights behind that, Neil Simon is very successful he passed away over the weekend due to complications of anemone at the age of 91. As far as the flooding concerns the area, still not under control at the moment. Madison Mayor Paul Soglin recommends carpooling and avoiding the Isthmus all together still today. He recommended that from over the weekend but he recommends it through today as well due to congestion and some closed roads as well. Flooding, it's just crazy! Over 160,000 sand bags filled up, that's from 40,000 from when we began the weekend. So definitely avoid the Isthmus and I know a lot of you live on the Isthmus but if you can car pool and avoid that if at all possible. In Hollywood we talked about the actress who made the most money over the last year. How about the highest paid actor? I’m going to let you think about it for a second. Okay, you're wrong it's George Clooney. He's the highest paid actor earning 239 million dollars from June 2017 to June 2018. I feel like they’re other people who might qualify for that but that's why you and I go to work and do the 8-5 every single day Monday through Friday. It's MIX 105.1 thanks for waking up with us this morning.
