A lot to get to today, the Wisconsin State fair kicks off this weekend with great entertainment on the main stage if you're headed out to West Alice, Alice Cooper tonight and BoDeans tomorrow and then the Happy Together Tour a lot of 60's and 70's artists Sunday night if you're headed out to the Wisconsin State Fair enjoy something on a stick for me. The Badger’s Football team with their highest preseason ranking in the poll. Their coach’s poll rating coming in at number 7. Now they were number 7 in 2007 before the season began so I'm excited. You know nothing truly beats, I don't care how young or old you are, having a couple beers and just having some fun on Regent Street before you go to a game at Camp Randall especially under the lights, nothing beats it nothing beats it at all. Brookstone stores in malls and airports have filed for bankruptcy for the second time. The retailer is going to be shutting down about 100 of its mall locations with hopes of selling its remaining assets. They have 35 stores located in airports. This talk about what they're doing in France because I found it pretty interesting. Trending this morning, students in France will have to leave their phones at home when they go back to school. Politicians voted to ban them including smart watches and tablets from school grounds saying that the fact that students choose to use their smart devices rather than play during their free time it can also lead to learning problems. I said earlier in the show that I have to side with France not that there is anything wrong with using technology or integrating technology into the classroom this is just my opinion I think it's great for a little forced separation time if that makes sense. Again I'm NOT advocating for not using technology but some force separation time I mean think about how often you use your phone and how I addicted we are to it, right? I would love for someone to tell me "Nope, Aaron you can't use your phone right now." By the way the ban only affects children from 3-15 years old so there is that. It's MIX 105.1
