Clotilda celebrated her 100th birthday over the weekend in Milwaukee! She's originally from northern Wisconsin but her 100th birthday came with a party! Because of her daily ritual which is her daily 2pm beer. She says one of the keys to success is cracking one open around 2 O'clock. And when her grandchildren said "When you ask her about this she says, Yup everyday 2pm I'll have a Miller 64'." It's her favorite beer because she likes the taste of it. She'd be a great spokesperson for Miller Coors. But Miller Coors did send her a letter over the weekend that said quote "To help you celebrate your 100th birthday we want to show our appreciation to you for being a true fan by sending you Miller 64' T-shirts, hats and beer. Happy 100th birthday Clotilda, Thanks to your friends at Miller 64." She said "Thank you" followed by "Where's my drink?” That's my kind of girl right there. Facts of Life star, Charlotte Rae who was born in Milwaukee has passed away in Los Angeles over the weekend, she was 92 years old. Pink had to cancel one of her Sydney shows; she's in Australia through August 26th. She’s got a virus, a gastric virus she’s been sick and miserable over the weekend so we really hope she's feeling better. Last but not least an axe throwing business called Happy Axe a hatchet throwing facility opening up inside Clock Tower Court off Mineral Point road. The business is going to be Madison’s first axe throwing business; this is a trend across the country. Kind of like darts, you're throwing these axes/hatches at targets in these little lanes. Pretty neat stuff, if you haven't done it already you're going to like it. That is what's trending this morning with MIX 105.1.
