What's Trending - July 18

July 18, 2018

Let me just start out by saying that it is my worst nightmare to be glitter bombed. And Nikki from our promotions department, she wants to glitter bomb me so bad and it drives me crazy. I hate glitter, I went to a Kesha concert a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't fathom the glittered outfits that were in my kitchen. We were doing a little pre gaming but someone brought a glittered costume and I get it because it's Kesha, but the glitter was everywhere! It was driving me insane I'm sorry, glitter is the word all you have to do is text that word to 72881 and you could win a thousand dollars with The MIX. We're going to run down what's trending this morning really quick I'm going to start with Madison Mayor Paul Soglin. He is not going to seek reelection. He was first elected mayor in 1973 and has served 22 years in the position on and off over the past couple of decades. But he's going to be focusing he's efforts on the Governor’s race. So Paul Soglin is no longer continuing as Madison's Mayor. Rugrats fans, the animated series is bringing back a 26 episode season so if you're a Nickelodeon fanatic you'll also be able to look forward to a live action movie. Kind of excited about that! I was just reading this and I'm a couple of days late but Applebee's they kind of understand us lately. They've got the long island ice teas and now they're going to be doing all you can eat chicken tenders. Yeah! I'm in! For $12.99 you can unlimited chicken tenders with signature coleslaw and bottomless fries. I'm so excited about this; chicken tenders are like my life. Especially at 2 in the morning, nothing beats a chicken tender dipped in ranch I know you want some right now. The most and least stressed cities in America. This study came out from Wallethub.com now we don't know necessarily if these studies are always accurate but Madison and Milwaukee are two completely different cities. Madison, one of the least stressed in America. Milwaukee, in at number 8 as one of the most stressed. You can read more about this on our Facebook page, MIX 105.1.
