Let's start with the dad who decided to buy a billboard for his son after his school wouldn't recognize him as a valedictorian. Instead of naming Valedictorians this school in Windle, North Carolina, they got rid of it. They give all high achieving students Latin honors for a better way to recognize students who may have barely missed being named valedictorian or salutatorian. So this father who like "You know what? My son graduated with a 5.31 GPA" I don't even know how that's possible I thought it only went up to 4. But he bought him a billboard and it’s all over the internet it's all over Facebook, it’s pretty cool stuff. This is a great father’s conversation especially coming off the father's day weekend. This story is on our Facebook page this morning you can check it out just search MIX 105.1. You can see the billboard too, dad for the win this morning. The American Family Insurance Championship begins this weekend at University Ridge golf course. So if you're on Pleasant View road, if you take McKee road into work, if you work at Epic or you work in Verona just be careful there's definitely going to be some congestion and delays as we get into the rest of the week. Areal traffic patrol (which is not uncommon especially if you're on the interstate or if you take I-94 east of Madison). But if you're in Columbia County tomorrow the Wisconsin State Patrol will add aircraft to their traffic team on I-39, I-90, I-94. They're going to observe problem areas of the highway so much sure you're not speeding or being an aggressive driver. Go the speed limit, save yourself some money. And Oprah has signed a deal with Apple Music. So if you're an Apple Music Subscriber Oprah is signing a deal to provide original content to the platform. It should be interesting though people are saying your bill may go up. It's MIX 105.1, good morning.
