What's Trending - June 22

The weekend is upon us and of course if you're going to out on the boat tomorrow, Lake Monona, fireworks. Be careful the Dane Country Sheriff is going to be out and about, there’s going to be 4 boat patrols. So nothing stupid, we don't want any accidental drowning or anything dumb. You know, don't drink a 12 pack of spotted cow and then try to drive a boat around. Probably not a good idea! New music, we have to talk about getting into the weekend. Paul McCartney at 76, dropping a new album September 7th titled Egypt Station. And he has 2 new songs that have been released this week already. Other new music involves Demi Lovato who opened up about her sobriety yesterday. She released a new single called sober and it talks about battling addiction. And I appreciate her honesty; I mean Demi Lovato is one of those mental health role models in my opinion. Especially if you go to her shows she has counselors on stage and definitely check out her new music. We wish her of coarse all the best. If you're doing some online shopping you may be paying more for the things you love to buy online. Because the Supreme Court ruled that States can force online shoppers to pay sales tax. Under the old rules some companies didn't collect sales tax for online purchases that were made in a state where the business didn't have a physical presence. So that in fact is changing companies like Overstock.com and Wayfair. Making the bid to make that happen.
