What's Trending - October 19

October 19, 2018

Let's get to a couple of things that are trending this morning. This is pretty much breaking this morning but Madison Mayor Paul Soglin is running for re-election. He said "Looking ahead there is much I would like to finish with you". There you go apparently he's had a change of heart and he's not running for governor anymore so why not run again for mayor. Divorce rates are on the decline thanks to millennials. Everything from home ownership to the 40 hour work week even department stores they are also ruining divorces as well because basically there are some societal shifts. So millennials are getting married older than the earlier generations did and I guess that's a good thing. I don't know where this would possibly fit in your home but a pumpkin grown in Winnebago County weighs about 2,152 lbs. I don't know if you saw this, this is pretty crazy, you know in the winter you can build a snow fort? I feel like you could build a fort inside this pumpkin. Drivers apparently slowing down off of highway 44 between Oshkosh and Ripon to take a peek at the Pumpkin. What do you do with it when you’re done? Do you make pie out of it what exactly do you do? Big game for the Brewers tonight they will be taking on the Dodgers. Game 6 of the National League Championship series if you're going to Milwaukee it should be a great night. Tickets by the way I think they're like $115-$125 the winner will play the Boston Red Sox. Red Sox advanced over the Astro's who won it all last year. That's trending this morning here with the MIX.
