Camila Cabello Opens Up About the Time Blue Ivy Shushed Beyonce at the GRAMMYs

February 21, 2018

Blue Ivy stole the show at the 2018 GRAMMYs last month when she told her parents (Beyoncé and Jay Z) to “shush” as Camila Cabello took to the stage during the show.

Cabello revealed in a recent interview with a British media outlet that she had a moment of insecurity as a result.

“I was like what does that mean? “I’m not gonna go into this wormhole of ‘do you think she didn’t like my speech?,’” Cabello said.

Camila says she was pretty sure that Blue would like her, however, because she said that kids usually do like her.

The program’s host told Blue that he thought Blue Ivy was telling her parents to stop interrupting the speech, but Camila wasn’t sure what to think initially. We tend to think that Blue was engrossed by the words of the "Havana" singer and wanted her parents to pay attention.

Cabello went on to describe how nerve wrecking it was to see celebrities like Beyoncé and Jay Z in the crowd. Well, she better get used to that spotlight. With all of the success the former Fifth Harmony star has had since going solo, it's likely that it won't be the last time we see her on stage during a major award ceremony.
