The Other Stallone Calls Foul

March 1, 2016
Sylvester Stallone was the sentimental favorite to win the Best Supporting Actor Oscar on Sunday night.

After all, he played Rocky Balboa, a character that had starred in several movies already.

In Creed, he took a backseat as the trainer of Apollo Creed's son, and some say it was his best acting ever.

But, Mark Rylance won instead, for his work in Bridge of Spies.

You could tell Sly was a bit disappointed when they announced Mark's win.

But he was gracious afterwards.

Not so much his brother Frank, who went on a little rant:
"The Academy should be ashamed of themselves. It’s as clear as the nose on your face that Sly won. Mark who? It’s total Hollywood bullsh*t.”

That was his Tweet the morning after. It's gone now, and he has apologized to Mark Rylance, but wow.

That's taking standing-up-for-your-brother a bit far, isn't it?
